Money Mark
This innovative musician spent early music career working for the Dust Brothers production team. Then while working as a handyman, he accepted a job from the Beastie Boys repairing the front gate at the house they were living in during the recording of Paul's Boutique. By the group's next album, 1992's Check Your Head, he'd became a pivotal member of their band, and has performed on all of their LPs and tours since. In 1995 Mark released his solo album debut, Mark's Keyboard Repair, a loose, infectious blend of tuneful groove pop & soul performed on vintage equipment. Push the Button followed in 1998. His third album Change is Coming was released in 2001. Mark is pictured here at The Quest in Minneapolis on September 6th 2001.
